Result of breathing into my thrown forms. Evident in the stretch, the squished “mouth piece”the expansion in the form and the ripped/popped hole in the first form.IMG_3077

IMG_3070 IMG_3071 IMG_3072 A form where I used a balloon instead of physically breathing into the piece. But the balloon expanded from the mouthpiece that changed the top part instead of the body, which is where I was aiming to expand.

A few pieces that I used as testers for the ‘grey’ earthenware glazes, but clearly there is not grey at all. I hope to look more into how to make my glazes grey and matte. IMG_3042 IMG_3040

More forms presenting the crackle surface. They aren’t bottle/mouth forms so the breathing wasn’t applied although I love the aesthetic of the pieces. I hope to experiment with oxides and glazes that can emphasis the attention to detail in the depth of decoration.
