The immediacy of drawing is the premise for a simultaneous exploration and observation of the transitions between perception and thought. I focus on these transitions, working with images as a primary means of knowledge – not in terms of a stable meaning but a cluster of meanings.
I am looking back at Sandra Boeschenstein from the private view in Berlin because her pencil drawings really captured my attention. The realism of the perspectives yet unique view of different visions created a new world through an-others eyes. This creation of my own vision to be replicated by object, sculpture for the audience to envision and live as well, is part of my intention with my production of work.
