Assemblages

I want to make the shape and forms drawn in my book – but purely for the fact that I like the forms, for no contextual reason

here are some more photos from the studio as I try and assemble different body parts of clay to each other

applying a traced image from sketchbook onto the form. the 3d form is the 2d base on the tracing paper. I then liked the idea of adding on the other stages of the body in correlation to the sketch on the base surface.

I’m not sure how what I plan to use the 2d pieces for, my work is purely based on the outline of a vessel form. It’s about the transformation from one stage to the other, keeping hold of the ideas within the outcome.
